We have a much bigger in-house crew these days, with full design and storyboard departments like we used to have on Avatar. Ryu couldn’t help himself with all of these new faces to parody and skewer, so he surprised us a few weeks back with a motherload crew caricature (top). Bill Rinaldi and a few folks had the idea to band together and get Ryu back with our own compilation of caricatures (bottom).

The final product, directed by Sung-Jin Ahn at Titmouse Animation Studio, will be a full-length animatic. The Amazon Studios Development Slate project, written by Benjamin van der Veen, is the story of a group of American mercenaries who must fight their way across the border in the midst of a war between guerrillas and the vicious military junta.

Check out this awesome project my friend, Sung Jin is directing on! Amazon be making movies!!

Of all the episodes and boards I’ve worked on Motorcity…this was probably my favorite sequence I boarded on Motorcity.. I’m just a sucker for romance/feelz..

I also wanted to give a huge thank you to all the amazing fans who supported Motorcity through thick and thin and just made this wonderful experience possible. Burners for life!!
